Level II Certification
This module is run as part of the Pilates Moves
Studio Certification program and all applicants must abide by the full terms and
conditions even if only participating in the Cadillac Certification modules
Time:
Self
mastery, assisted teaching & observation hours need to be pre-arranged
prior to the course starting.

Program
Outline
The program is designed to
increase a level I instructor’s basic repertoire and to introduce the level II
exercises suitable for low risk, apparently healthy participants in group
exercise or semi-private /private classes, at an intermediate level.
Learning Objective
·
Be able to perform the intermediate Cadillac exercises.
·
Understand how to apply the Pilates principles and their
application to each exercise.
·
Demonstrate adequate understanding of Occupational Health and
Safety issues.
·
Demonstrate adequate understanding of professional conduct and
ethics.
·
Continue development of identifying clients learning styles.
·
Demonstrate suitable communication and client education skills.
·
Learn to design an hour exercise program for private and semi –
private classes.
Teaching Method
·
Theory & Application of Cadillac (total 9.5 hours).
·
Written & practical examination (total 1 hour).
Assessment
PART ONE:
·
Written examination: Short answer & practical exam in lesson
plan III in which the candidate will show a satisfactory understanding of the
Cadillac & its repertoire.
PART TWO:
·
Minimum of 45 hours of observation, assisted teaching & self
mastery
·
Additional
private tuition (optional) – refer to individual studios for fees
·
A 2 hour practical exam, teaching one volunteer the Cadillac Level II repertoire. Fee
$220.00
