A soft trapeze workout designed to get you in shape while releasing you from the compression of gravity. Re-engineered from gymnastics to enhance your agility, mobility and strength whilst having fun.


AntiGravity® Fitness is a comprehensive fitness technique designed to increase your overall health and physical agility while having fun and creating beauty. This unique combination of exercises, as a sequence, is intended to decompress your spine and align your body from head to toe while stretching and strengthening your muscles. The Harrison AntiGravity® Hammock is a structural fabric that is connected from two overhead points acting like a swing. In AntiGravity® Fitness, the Hammock is used to change your dynamic relationship to the ground, allowing you to fine-tune your body through unique exercises that challenge the laws of physics. This new prop acts as a soft trapeze, supporting you as you master simple suspension techniques leading to advanced poses.

AntiGravity® Fitness was created by gymnasts for the sake of exploring the air and has been modified and enhanced to cater to the everyday athlete. By reinventing techniques from yoga, dance, Pilates and calisthenics, AntiGravity® founder Christopher Harrison has created a complete workout that is certain to get you in shape while releasing you from the compression of gravity.

The fastest animal in the world is the cheetah. The main reason it is so fast is the flexibility of its spine in both directions. One thing that determines your age as much, if not more, than the lines on your face is the rigidity in your movement. As you age, your joints tighten if not carefully lubricated and massaged. AntiGravity® Fitness is a method for combating the aging process, a way to keep your spine flexible, and thereby enhance your posture. As vital as increased mobility, in this technique you are also able to receive the many health benefits of performing inversions without causing compression of the vertebrae.

Getting Started

If you have not done AntiGravity® Fitness before we recommend you start with one of the options below before joining a class:

1. Introductory Private Class (1 person)

2. Shared Introductory Private Class (2 people)

Classes are 55-minutes & will teach you the principles of AntiGravity® and the terminology used in class in order to maximise your understanding and results. You can also join forces with a friend and do a Shared Introductory Private. 

If you choose to start with a Private or Shared Private you receive a FREE AntiGravity® Fitness Group class or you may continue with Private Classes if you prefer. If you have a particular class time in mind that it is not on the timetable & our studio space is free, let us know & we will do our best to launch a new class for you.
