She competed at state level softball. Her 20’s were consumed with travel, living overseas and becoming immersed in the corporate world. Rachel commenced regularly practicing yoga in 2000, which brought her back in touch with her body and the need to nurture the body, mind and spirit. This then led her to Pilates, which complimented and strengthened her yoga practice. Pilates was instrumental in mending what had become a debilitating back condition and she no longer lives with back pain since regularly practicing Pilates. Rachel has been instructing at Pilates Moves since 2005 and is also now instructing Pilates at Yoga Synergy. “Helping others discover the feeling of strength, control and balance their body is capable of, is what brings me joy. This will then assist people to feel in tune & confident with their body whilst going about daily life.”
